Our team at Utopia Tax & Accounting are experts in setting up and maintaining your Corporate Maintenance needs.

Maintaining your company, trust or Self-Managed Superannuation Fund’s compliance with ASIC regulations is frustrating work. Why not let us do it for you?

We maintain your corporate registers, send out your annual company statement, update registers and file any corporate documents. As legislative changes occur, we proactively contact you to arrange amendments to deeds or constitutions. We also attend to any shareholder or director changes. Let us be your in-house company secretary.

We establish:

  • Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSF):

We set up SMSFs tailored to your retirement needs. SMSF establishment involves creating a trust deed for the SMSF that establishes the basis for each of the member’s entitlements, and in some cases, the contributions that the member has made. The SMSF trust deed can be amended as the needs and trustees of the fund change. We can also establish Bare Trusts in SMSFs if you choose to purchase property in your SMSF using a Limited Recourse Borrowing Arrangement (hyperlink). Your SMSF can have either individual or a corporate trustee.

  • Trustee Companies:

A trustee company or corporate trustee acts as on behalf of a person or business entity for the purpose of business management, administration, and transfer of assets to beneficiaries.

  • Unit Trusts:

A fixed trust where beneficiaries’ holding units act in the same way as shares of a company. Unit trusts are commonly used for property, investment trusts, such as managed funds, and joint ventures.

  • Family Trusts:

Also known as discretionary trusts are generally a form of tax planning and asset protection for family members. The trustee has the discretion to choose if any of the beneficiaries is entitled to income or capital. A family trust gives the trustee(s) more control over the nature of assets and income.
